Financial stability at a young age is truly admirable and not everyone can afford to have assets, especially worth millions at a young age.
A Malaysian YouTuber recently shared a luxury house that he “bought” which was worth nearly RM10 million.
The YouTuber was gracious enough to bring his followers for a virtual tour around his “newly-bought” bungalow, showing the collection of luxury watches from Switzerland and clothes that he has, as well as the gaming room on the floor above.
Long story short, the RM9.7 million bungalow is filled with everything you could ever ask for if you’re looking for a luxury life.
A Malaysian property investor, who got his eyes on the YouTuber’s recent purchase decided to check on the ownership of the house, and let’s just say, his discovery has led to more questions.
Are you sure you bought the house?
In his Facebook post, the property investor, Ishaq shared what he found with his followers, and said the bungalow shown in the video was merely a rented property, and NOT sold.
“I did some research online, and found out the YouTuber is not even the owner of the house. He was merely renting for content.”
Ishaq even went as far as speaking to the agent who handles the property, who revealed that the owner is still selling the house at the price of RM9.8 million, which is still negotiable. The house was rented at RM23,000.
“I checked with the agent. The house is not even sold. Why did the YouTuber claimed he bought the house?”
In his post, Ishaq also expressed his annoyance at influencers and YouTubers who influence the youth today.
“They portray themselves as wealthy people to prove that they can be successful, even with just an SPM certificate.”
Ishaq also revealed that he has heard a lot of stories about youths being stuck in debt after being tied to loans that were used to support their wants, instead of needs.
Khairul Aming, a Malaysian celebrity chef and influencer once reminded all other content creators out there to be wary of the content they create and learn about what it really means to be a content creator. If you’re looking into content creation, you might want to remember Khairul’s wise words.
