In a recent video shared via @mynewshub, CCTV footage captures the alarming moment an armed foreign man robs a popular ice cream and iced tea store in Taman Sri Muda.
In the video, a staff member is seen at the back of the store, going about her business when a foreign man wearing a mask enters. Her attention shifts as he makes his way toward her.
She was stabbed 8 times
According to the post, on Monday, August 12th, at 11:25 a.m., the staff member involved was the store supervisor, who was unfortunately on duty that day. During the robbery, the man allegedly stabbed her 8 times in the stomach.
The post also claimed that the robber managed to steal RM4,000. In the video, the confrontation begins with the robber targeting the staff member, prompting her to run as he chases after her.
“The staff is currently under the care of doctors”
After the staff member was chased out of the CCTV’s view along with the robber, the footage shows the robber quickly running back into frame, trying to escape.
The staff member is seen attempting to pursue him but is tragically stabbed repeatedly, causing her to collapse to the ground.
Even after being stabbed, the brave staff managed to stand up and made another attempt to go after the man. However, he still managed to escape.
Footage from a different CCTV caught the robber’s face
In another video from the post, the robber is shown in a public spot without his mask on. He didn’t realise there was a CCTV camera outside that got a clear shot of his face.
During this time, the robber can also be seen pacing back and forth, appearing distressed while making a phone call.
