A tragic incident befell a Malaysian woman who was attending to an issue with her Proton X50.
The woman was killed after being hit by a lorry while changing her vehicle’s tyre on the emergency lane.

A 31-year-old woman was killed after a lorry crashed into her while she was attending to a flat tyre
The incident happened on kilometre 260.6 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) yesterday (19 November) at around 9:20 AM, when the victim, 31-year-old Nurul Amirah Hamdan, was headed to work in Senawang. The victim’s colleague, Nur Affiqah Jamran, 30, said she found out about the incident after being contacted by the victim’s housemate.
“We were supposed to have a meeting with the deceased this morning, but it was strange to see that she didn’t make it to the office. Until I was contacted by her housemate, who informed me about the incident,” she shared.
The colleague, after receiving the call, rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, Nurul was already pronounced dead, and the colleague saw her body covered in a white cloth.
The colleague also described Nurul as a good friend, and said that she was sad to learn that Nurul lost her life while changing her flat tyre.

The lorry was driven by a 24-year-old man
Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahman, said that Nurul stopped her vehicle on the emergency lane after realising that the rear right tyre of her Proton X50 was flat.
“While changing the tyre, a container lorry driven by a 24-year-old man came into the left lane and collided with the victim.”
“The victim suffered serious injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene. Her body was taken to Rembau Hospital for further action,” Azahar said, as reported by Sinar Harian.
He said that members of the public who have information about the incident can contact the investigating officer, Inspector Nor Fadzilah Mohd Zainuddin, at 019-4611794 or come to any nearby police station to assist in the investigation.
He added that the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
