A Malaysian was given a second chance at life after miraculously waking from a five-day coma caused by a heart attack earlier this month, all thanks to a voice note from Siti Nurhaliza.
In an Instagram post, Aimi Nasruddin shared that the incident began when he and his friends visited Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, on 9 July.
“When we reached a bench, I told the others to go ahead—I wanted to rest. I sat down and then collapsed,” he recalled.

He received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the scene before being rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital for further treatment.
According to Aimi, he was in a coma for five days. What shocked everyone was that a voice note from his favourite singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, managed to elicit a response from him.
“My father tried to reach out to my friends to get a voice note from Siti Nurhaliza, hoping it would trigger a positive response—because at that point, I was completely unconscious.”
“The movement of my hand was a very positive sign, and my father was amazed by her kindness,” he said.
“He said that within just one hour of contacting my friends, she had already sent the voice note,” Aimi shared, adding that he woke up from the coma on the sixth day after the heart attack.

Aimi also shared the contents of the voice note, in which the singer encouraged him to stay strong and recite prayers.
“Aimi, recite selawat frequently, say istighfar, as it can ease the pain. Don’t stop doing zikir. Be strong. Aimi, don’t give up. Thank you for supporting Kak Siti all this while. God willing, Aimi, you can get through this.”
Now safely back in Malaysia, Aimi is gradually returning to his normal routine and is back at work and even driving again. He credits his recovery to divine will, the prayers of loved ones, and that powerful voice note.
“Today (yesterday) marks exactly 20 days since the incident. Alhamdulillah, I’m back at work and able to drive as usual. I see this as a blessing and a miracle from Allah SWT,” he said.
