M’sian Volunteer Heartwarmingly Shares Biscuits and Chocolate Spread with Syrian Refugees

Helping people in need goes beyond simple gestures as it brings a deep satisfaction that words can’t fully express. It’s fulfilling and gives a strong sense of purpose, knowing you’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life.

In a recent video posted by @bukanharoqs, he shared a heartwarming moment with Syrian refugee kids he encountered while staying at a camp in Mafraq, Jordan.

In the video, a man can be seen heartwarmingly sharing biscuits and a tub of chocolate spread with some kids he met while staying at the Mafraq Jordan Camp.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Haroq explained that his visit to the camp was to volunteer with ‘Childrity’, an NGO led by @farahlee_.  He also mentioned that this was his 2nd time visiting the camp.

They are kind, and he treats them as if they were his own family!

Haroq shared how, upon meeting the children and families at the camp, he found them incredibly kind and has come to consider them like his own family.

He explained that whenever he and other volunteers visit, the Syrian children and families treat them like royalty, despite having very little themselves. Their generosity is truly remarkable.

“I’m just a volunteer there, and this is my second time visiting the camp. We provide not only financial aid and essential supplies but also emotional support.”

They’ve built a cabin school to make it more accessible for the children

Haroq explained that the volunteers offer continuous support by engaging with the children and families daily. They take the time to interact with them, listen to their stories, and stay updated on their well-being

He went on to explain that Childrity has built a cabin school near the homes of Syrian families. This helps make education more accessible for the children, giving them better learning opportunities.

“I have a lot more to tell, and I hope sharing this spreads love and helps us all appreciate the blessings we have,” he added.

It’s truly heartwarming to witness Malaysians extending a helping hand to those in need. There’s nothing more uplifting than seeing people come together to support others in times of difficulty or hardship.
