Vendors tend to make large portions of their food and drink items to sell, though there are various reasons as to why they might not be able to sell the food and drinks.

So, should a vendor be unable to sell their food and drink items, how should they dispose of them? Well, certainly not how this vendor did.

The ISU SEMASA VIRAL Twitter page recently showcase a vendor throwing away his entire tub of drinks, known locally as Air Balang, into a river after it was unable to be sold.

They wrote from the perspective of the vendor, “This is the fate of us Air Balang vendors, people see us selling and think we make a lot of profit but people don’t know the reality of it.”

In the video, the vendor could be seen slowly pouring an entire tub of Air Balang into a river as he shakes his head.

Many questioned why the vendor did not donate the drink to the less fortunate rather than throwing it into the river, but it is said that the drink had apparently gone spoilt as it contains expired milk which prompted the vendor to immediately get rid of the drink.

His stall could be seen located right next to the little river.

Netizens, condemned the vendor for throwing the drink into a river where it could pollute the water and its ecosystem.

River 1

“In the end, he pollutes the drain and he pollutes the river. So stupid.”

River 2

“Just polluting the environment.”

River 3

“The fishes in the river are going to get diabetes.”

River 4

“Can report his actions of throwing in the river to the Department of Environment. Get ready for the fine la brother, if someone has reported you. His face isn’t blurred so it’ll be easy to find him.”
