You know you’ve got some really good friends when they’re willing to shave their head to show support for you!

On 19 April, a student surnamed Yap from Chong Hua Secondary School in Port Dickson slipped and fell from his motorcycle. Unfortunately, he suffered a blow to his head and a blood clot had formed in his brain. Therefore, he had to undergo surgery to remove the blood clot.

Prior to the operation, half of Yap’s head was shaved and his friend, Zhuo was saddened to see his condition. His classmates got even more worried when Yap slipped into a coma after the operation. Luckily, he regained consciousness after three days and is now on his way to recovery.

When interviewed by Sinchew, Zhuo said that Yap has always been the one who cheers everyone up in class. Also, he is very particular about his hairstyle, so having to shave his head would make him feel terrible as his peers may laugh at him in school.

So, Zhuo assembled 10 male classmates who were willing to shave their head bald to show support for Yap.

“If there are students who want to laugh at Yap, then they should laugh at us too because we’re all as bald as him!” Zhuo said.

Aww!

Yap was touched when he saw all his bald classmates in the hospital, and they took turns to visit him every day. Zhuo added that some of the bald classmates have never sported the hairless look before.

This bold move has shocked everyone in the school including the teachers. Headmaster Lim even said that he’s proud of the students as they displayed pure sympathy and team spirit when their friend is in trouble. Bravo boys!

This is one of the most beautiful friendships we’ve ever seen, and their spirit of brotherhood is certainly strong! Yap will be back to school in a few days’ time and hopefully his hair can grow back asap! Get well soon!
