Local singer and TikTok influencer, Vanessa Reynauld, is taking the world by storm with her exceptional language skills and her mind-blowing voice!

The 23-year-old is currently in Shanghai, China, representing Malaysia in Sing! China, a reality talent search television programme.

Vanessa took to her TikTok account to showcase herself slaying a mandarin song on the show, wowing the judges with her singing prowess.

She wrote, “Here’s a snippet of my performance on Sing! China 2023, hope you guys like it.”

The show, which began airing on July 28 (Friday), included an impressive group of A-list coaches, mainly Wakin Chau, Joker Xue, Wilber Pan and Henry Lau.

Vanessa, who is from Klang, has since been elected to join Wakin Chau’s team.

But, she isn’t the only Malaysian competing on the show as 22-year-old Xair Peng from Kuala Lumpur has since also found a spot on Sing! China, on Wilber Pan’s team.

Following Vanessa’s video, netizens have called her the second coming of Shila Amzah, who had also previously made a name for herself in China with her Mandarin skills and amazing voice.
