One of the things that one must have when living in Malaysia is definitely a driving license. While public transport in Malaysia is slowly catching up, there are still certain places where driving would be easier to access.

Just recently, a Malaysian has shared her thoughts about driving skills and in her post, she said,

“I really like driving because it gives me peace and quiet. When I drive alone, I feel like I get my me time and it’s very relaxing.”

She then revealed that ever since she started dating her boyfriend, he would insist on driving as he thinks it’s embarrassing for girls to drive and have guys sit on the passenger side.

“I don’t mind letting him drive but honestly, his driving skills aren’t really as good as mine. He drives really slow and occasionally even the trucks would drive faster than him”, she said.

She shared that there was once when they went out together her boyfriend couldn’t do side parking, making them park further away and having to walk a distance.

She then ended the post saying that,

“He got into a car accident not long ago and ever since then, I’ve been the one driving.”

Following that, many netizens were commenting on her boyfriend’s behaviour and here’s what a couple of them said:

“I feel the same, it definitely feels great to have someone chauffer you around, but this is only enjoyable if the person driving has good skills. If not, you’ll feel helpless and uneasy when sitting at the passenger side.”

A netizen jokingly asked if the car accident was arranged by her so she could drive instead.
