A Malaysian girl decided to see a doctor later in the day as opposed to first thing in the morning as she felt too sick to move. Little did she know that this would pose a problem for her later on at the clinic.

The girl, Alena (her name has been changed for privacy reasons), shared with WORLD OF BUZZ about how a doctor at a government clinic in Selangor had been rude to her when she asked for a Medical Certificate (MC) for that day. The doctor allegedly questioned why she didn’t choose to see a doctor first thing in the morning.

“I asked for an MC because I obviously didn’t go to work today (October 22), because I’m f*****g dying,” she shared.

However, when she asked the doctor for the MC, the doctor asked her why she didn’t come earlier in the day. In response, Alena told the doctor that she didn’t have the energy to get up or move, and only came to the government clinic when she regained some energy.

Instead of understanding her situation, Alena claims the doctor told her that she was making excuses.

“I am sick, I feel a bit better now. My bosses told me to rest first and then head to a clinic,” she told the doctor but the doctor insisted she was merely making excuses to skip work.

Alena also informed us that the doctor allegedly kept interrupting her when she was trying to explain why she had gone to the government clinic later on in the day.

After a frustrating back and forth with the doctor, Alena finally got her MC after the doctor asked about her job and found out that she works as a barista and does not follow regular office hours.

“Whatever work I do, if I want an MC because I am unable to work, you should just give it. Instead, this (doctor) wants to come and say that I’m making excuses and all. (The doctor) might as well go and be a farmer,” Alena added.
