An alleged road bully is going viral on social media after he pulled out what looks like a ‘police card’ in an attempt to show power over the person he was apparently bullying.
Izat Abd Wahab took to his Facebook page to share a video of the incident of the bully, who was driving a Honda City. He had allegedly tailgated Izat’s vehicle before overtaking him at the Ayer Panas toll plaza on the DUKE highway and repeatedly slamming the brakes while Izat was behind him.
At one point, while they were side by side, the road bully; who had a young boy in the front passenger seat, used the boy to lean over him and hold out an opened wallet to show off the ‘police card’.
Izat wrote, “Road bully! Even showed off his police authorisation card. Maybe he thinks he’s very big and very powerful. Driving like the devil, endangering other road users.”
It is also important to point out that the road bully and the poor little boy in the front seat of his car were both not wearing seat belts while going at high speeds.
According to a report by Kosmo, the Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Superintendent Ashari Abu Samah shared that the police have received a report in regards to this incident and the Honda City driver has also stepped forward.
The road bully is apparently an auxiliary police officer at a bank and has since claimed that Izat had interfered in his path without signaling to indicate his change of lane.
“Because of that, the driver acted by showing the police authority card in order to get the victim to stop,” shared Superintendent Ashari.
This case has since been classified as Refer to Magistrate (RKM) and the auxiliary police agency has been notified for further action.
