For most of us animal lovers, it is sort of a norm to have our pet cats or dogs laying in bed with us. Although most people may frown upon this, we can’t help it!

Some would even allow their pets to lay in bed with their children as they make great safeguards to watch over them at night.

This Malaysian mom, Baiesyah, took to her Facebook to share adorable pictures of her pet cat sleeping next to her son.

But, she also wanted to share another pet of hers that sleeps next to her son although it shouldn’t… her pet fish!

Many netizens freaked out when they saw a fish out of the water and questioned how it was even possible. Baiesyah assured everyone that the fish is very much alive and that it is not the first time they caught it in bed with their child.

She explained that this is a snakehead murrel fish, also known as ‘ikan haruan’ to many of us Malaysians. This breed of fish can actually survive out of water for a significant amount of hours.

Baiesyah told World of Buzz that the aquarium is 2 to 3 meters away from her sons’ bed but that does not stop it from jumping from the aquarium and sofa before finally landing onto the bed.

She also shared a video of how she found the fish which was hopping around at the side of the road near a railway track.

It’s hilarious!

We hope Baiesyah will keep an eye out for this sneaky fish. Who would have known that fishes could be this entertaining?
