According to SUPP Complaints Bureau Head Milton Foo, the victim was targeted by two male classmates, one of whom threw a rock at the victim’s back and head while issuing verbal threats and using abusive language, which left the victim in trauma and tears.

The victim was given a day off by the school, but her parents chose to extend the leave until 30 October to allow the victim to receive counselling and an emotional recovery process.
The school also imposed disciplinary action by suspending both students for three days and transferring one of them to another class.
“This case reflects a worrying increase in bullying cases in schools and urged schools and parents to take every such incident seriously,” Foo said in an interview.
