Most of the time, people talk about the love they express for their significant others. Sometimes , it’s about how much they have spent to make their partners feel special and at other times, they show off the fancy gifts that their partners received during special days.
A Malaysian man got his mother something pretty & special, and although it was nothing fancy, he held it on to his dear life. Just last night (July 19), a well-known Malaysian, Uncle Kentang shared a heartwarming incident on his Facebook post, where he witnessed an accident that happened at Jalan Chan Sow Lin 2, KL. The accident was pretty bad, Uncle Kentang saw the car flipping over.
He immediately rushed towards the car and pulled the victim out of the car, which to his surprise, suffered no injuries. But there was something that Uncle Kentang was baffled about – the bouquet of flowers that the victim took out with him, which he never let go.
Uncle Kentang asked the victim to contact his relatives, to which he said his phone was still in the car. He picked up the flowers but not his phone, and to Uncle Kentang, it raised more questions than answers.
“Is that for your girlfriend? Do you really love her that much, and is she that important for you?”
The victim simply told Uncle Kentang, “Uncle, I don’t have a girlfriend. This is for my mother. It’s her birthday”.
Uncle Kentang, also known as Kuan, was shocked to find out about the intended recipient of the flowers, and he was surprised how much the victim loves and cares about his mother. He did not leave the scene and spent some time with the victim, until his mother arrived.
“His mother cried at the scene and hugged her son. I told her that she should be proud for having such a loving son.”
Uncle Kentang decided to share this incident in the hopes that it will remind all youth out there to cherish their parents before it’s too late.
“Don’t forget, your parents are getting older. Spend time with them when you can.”
Bless the victim for being such a sweetheart to his mother. Fellow Malaysians, have you ever given the queen of your house flowers?
