They say an act of kindness goes a long way, and this worker definitely deserves a big raise for his generous gesture! A food delivery rider, @nafiezainol took to TikTok to share a heartwarming encounter he had with a worker from a gas station.

According to the video, Nafie shared how he was the assigned rider for a food delivery order placed by a worker named Pavithran from a gas station in Seremban.

The worker would always order 1 extra pack of food!

Nafie shared that Pavithran always orders an extra identical meal along with his own, so he can share the extra pack of food with the rider who delivers his order.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Nafie revealed that this was actually his second time delivering food to Pavithran.

“During my first delivery, he did the same thing where he ordered 2 meals instead of one. Unfortunately, I couldn’t record it then. He explained that buying 2 meals was cheaper due to a voucher he could use, compared to buying just one. In reality, he intentionally bought an extra meal to give to me,” he added.

“It’s nice to know that goodness still exists”

In the video, Nafie asked Pavithran why he always orders extra food. Pavithran responded,

“I always order extra food to give to any delivery rider assigned to deliver my order.”

Nafie was deeply moved by this kind gesture, mentioning how it brightened his mood after a long day of work since morning.

“It made me so happy. To me, this isn’t just about one person’s act of kindness, it’s about how rare such genuine compassion is in 2024. It’s reassuring to see that goodness still exists, especially with Merdeka Day approaching. This kind of harmony is something worth sharing with the world.”

This video has garnered 28,000 views and 5,000 likes as of the time of writing!
