In today’s time, what do you think of early marriage? Say, before 18?
A pair of lovebirds who got married at 18 years old recently are reconsidering their decision after cracks keep showing up in their marriage. In an anonymous dilemma shared on X by @meinmokhtar, the man said they both decided to tie the knot early because they wanted to avoid Maksiat (immorality).
Unfortunately, seven months after the marriage, the constant fighting has led the pair to live separately. Many issues ended up in unresolved fights, prompting the pair to give some space to each other for the time being.
“It stresses me that we fight every day. My wife doesn’t like my family, she complains to her parents about mine every day.”
The matter escalated when the bride’s father approached their house and started quarrelling with the man’s family. Despite no mention of divorce, the man clarified what he thinks about early marriage.
He regrets it
The early marriage came with good intentions, but none of them foresaw the major crack that led to the huge space between the couple now. At the moment, the pair has been living separately for over two months.
“We only call each other when it’s necessary.”
Marriage has its ups and downs. In his case, do you think the key lies in communication or in his age, which some deem too early to build a family?
