Keeping our houses clean and in good condition is already difficult, what more when people purposely do things to damage our homes.
In a viral video by @snow_queenz_ on TikTok, they tell the story of how someone has been intentionally splashing a foul-smelling, dark-coloured liquid on their window and grill.
“Previously, I didn’t know what the liquid I always found here was. I thought that it could be cats’ urine, but it didn’t make sense that they would go all the way up there,” they wrote in the video with 2.6 million views.
A supernatural occurrence
Later, @snow_queenz_ suspected that maybe it was a supernatural being so they sprinkled some salt and read some prayers, but the liquid and smell was still there.
“It was to the point that the wall had grown mold and we’ve cleaned the area for months, but it was still there,” they said.
According to @snow_queenz_ things became really weird when they couldn’t even be in the room without getting a whiff of the terrible smell.
Finding the culprit
It was only recently that @snow_queenz_ became fed up about the supposedly unsolvable problem and decided to place a camera near the window in hopes of figuring out what was going on.
“I noticed that this thing happened every time I’m not at home,” they said.
What was found on the camera was nothing like what they expected. It turns out that the next door neighbour has been splashing cups of smelly liquid onto the window and grill. They would reach over the wall dividing each house and throw the liquid in the direction of @snow_queenz_‘s house.
Netizens advise
In the comments, netizens advised @snow_queenz_ to either move to a new place if they’re renting the house or to make a police report if that’s their own house.
They also urged them to increase the height of the divider wall and to report the incident to the neighbourhood safety and development committee.
