Married life does not mean you can’t have fun with your friends anymore. Gatherings and playtime with your bros can still happen but they have to happen at a much lesser capacity, especially if you have kids.
On her Instagram story last night (2 July), a local influencer & YouTuber, Gladish Chan shared a screenshot of a conversation between her husband and his bunch of peers in a Whatsapp group, where 1 of them asked her husband, Hao Ren to play Diablo together.
“If you don’t play, I’ll leave Steady Gang (Whatsapp group). I’ll get someone to kidnap your daughter and burn your house,” he joked.
Hao Ren knew it was a joke and he even laughed about it.
“You’re the worst person I’ve seen. For the sake of Diablo, you lost your humanity.”
Gladish, however, was not happy with the conversation that took place in the group, and she called out the friends for bringing excessive gaming influence on Hao Ren.
“You bunch of bad friends! Do you know how committed my husband is towards the game? Asking him to play more means I’m losing him, and you’re losing your goddaughter. Is that what you want?”
The specific friend whom Gladish was referring to has since responded to her IG story, and he had a reminder for Hao Ren.
“Bro, do you know the conversation between us brothers in this group is not meant for your wife?” he laughed.
Breaking a family is, of course, the last thing a BFF would want to witness. It’s never wrong to indulge yourself in video games once in a while as a married man with a family, as long as you have things under control.
In this case, do you think Gladish is overreacting, or do you think Hao Ren should ditch video games for good? Fellow Malaysian husbands, do you still sit down and relax with video games?
