A video has been going viral online, showcasing a man being abducted in broad daylight by 5 individuals, 4 men and a woman, as they forced him into a white car while he screamed in fear and pain.

This incident allegedly took place at the Shahab Perdana Bus Terminal in Alor Setar, on Monday (April 24).

Though, thankfully, the 27-year-old victim has since been found and 4 of the 5 perpetrators have been arrested.

According to a report by Kosmo, the suspects were arrested yesterday (April 25) at different times and different locations.

“The 3 latest arrests were made around Alor Setar, Jitra and Changlun, with the female suspect testing positive for methamphetamine.”

“All of them were remanded for 6 days, until May 1 (Monday) and this investigation is being carried out in accordance with Section 362 of the Penal Code,” shared Kota Setar District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Shukri Mat Akhir.

The motive of the abduction is still unknown.

We genuinely hope that the authorities get to the bottom of the abduction and arrest the last suspect.

We’re so happy that he was found safe and sound, and has been reunited with his family.
