A company just paid RM80,000 to a local content creator to make just 3 content
In the video, @kerjazz shared how she was shocked to hear from a friend who’s working in the media field how her company just signed a contract with an agency to procure the services of a Malaysian content creator.
@kerjazz was then stunned to hear the details of the contract as the company agreed to pay the content creator a staggering RM80,000 for just making 3 content.
She asserted,
“Just imagine. You can get RM80,000 for just 3 content. 3 content, not 30! This means that the value of just 1 content is over RM26,000.
“What do you guys think? I was stunned when I heard that.”
@kerjazz added that the fact that the company had already signed the contract showed many parties were willing to pay a sizeable amount of money for content creation.
Accordingly, following the friend’s revelation, @kerjazz said she’s now determined to create her own content creation team and welcomed people to apply.

Malaysians say that content creation can be lucrative but it depends on how big your reach is
In the comments section, many Malaysians gave their 2 cents on the matter and shared their own experiences with how much content creators charge for making content.
One commenter said that the contract shared by @kerjazz is something common, but it all depends on who the content creator is and their reach.
Meanwhile, another commenter said that the lucrative money content creators make is the reason why they agree that the government should make it compulsory for them to declare their income.
