“Monumental milestone” – The Largest Hard Rock Hotel in Asia to Open in Genting Highlands in 2027!

A historic milestone was achieved with the announcement that the largest Hard Rock Hotel in Asia will open in Genting Highlands in 2027. On October 14, HR Hotel & Residences Sdn Bhd and Hard Rock International announced their partnership after signing an agreement to build the hotel.

According to King’s Park Genting Highlands, this new addition will bring the renowned hotel chain to King’s Park and transform Hard Rock Genting Highlands into the largest in Asia!

The 3rd Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia!

This will be the 3rd Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia with the other 2 located in Penang and Desaru Coast, Johor.

With 1001 rooms and suites, a 200-square-meter retail space known as the Rock Shop, a heated swimming pool, a Rock Spa, and a wide range of dining options along with a lounge and bar will surely get you excited for an unforgettable stay.

Spanning 61 hectares of freehold land, King’s Park is set to be Genting Highlands’ 1st central business district and an all-in-one entertainment hub!

“Monumental milestone in the world of hospitality”

King Park’s executive vice president Sean Chen thinks the business will be a major draw at King’s Park and a highlight in the Hard Rock tradition.

The RM10 billion gross development value project will also feature the world’s largest terrarium, branded theme parks, a halal luxury boutique hotel, a halal retail zone, and more!

King’s Park will also be hosting Malaysia’s first-ever Swissotel resort in 2028, a 300-room property with a grand ballroom, conference facilities, executive lounges, and more.
