Every now and then, we indulge in something that just helps get us through the day. From food to drinks and even a movie, often times, it may not just be humans who need a nice treat.

A recent clip that was submitted to WORLD OF BUZZ and has since been posted to TikTok by Malaysian user @dhiviya.k has been making waves online after one monkey was seen enjoying a drink by the side of a road.

Perched on top what seemed to be a dustbin, the monkey can be seen slowly eating the contents of a drink container. Resembling bubble tea, the primate casually sits while nibling at what seems to be Boba pearls while licking his fingers in the process.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Dhiviya Kunalan, the poster of the TikTok video, stated that the clip was taken at a rest and recreation (R&R) site in Sungai Perak, Kuala Kangsar.

Aside from that, Dhiviya also confirmed that the drink was from Mixue, an ice cream and bubble tea establishment popular throughout Malaysia.

Entertaining a number of individuals on the platform, a few TikTok users commented on how the monkey seemed to really enjoy the drink, taking his time and savouring the moment.

No bananas, but yes to Mixue!” light-heartedly wrote one user.

Even in the animal kingdom, monkeys need a pick-me-up here and there too.
