We are now in Day Two in the Third Phase of the Movement Control Order. The number of positive cases has been showing signs of slowing down while at the same time, the number of discharge cases is rising.

According to a live stream by the Ministry of Health on Facebook, there are 110 new cases in Malaysia today as of 12pm, bringing the total number of cases to 5,182 cases. There are currently 2,332 active cases.

Of all these cases reported, 56 patients are said to be in critical condition now and 29 cases are in need of respiratory equipment to help keep them breathing.

119 cases have been discharged today (16th April) and the total number of patients discharged since February is 2,766 cases.

There is an addition of 1 death case today bringing the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia to 84 cases.

The Ministry of Health advises everyone to stay home, stay hygienic and to abide by the Movement Control Order. 84 deaths are already enough and we would not want to see more casualties. #StayAtHome
