A Mercedes-Benz driver, suspected of dozing off due to fatigue, crashed into the median barrier and became stuck in the guardrail.
There were four people in the car, and the front passenger, aged 26, did not survive.

The 52-year-old driver and two other passengers sustained injuries in the accident, which occurred at around 5:45 AM today (13 December) on the North-South Expressway at kilometre 282.6 southbound, near Nilai.
The driver’s 10-year-old daughter, who was seated in the back, suffered minor injuries. The driver and another back-seat passenger, aged 36, both sustained head and leg injuries. All of them were sent to Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban for treatment.

The deceased’s body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy, and police will take a blood sample from the driver for testing to further investigate the cause of the accident. According to a report by China Press, police stated that the driver appeared tired and fell asleep, causing him to lose control and crash into the roadside guardrail, where the vehicle became stuck.
