They managed to get away with some jewellery and cash

Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, said the incident occurred at around 5:02 AM while the 55-year-old man was at home with three other family members.

Based on closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, five unidentified suspects wearing face masks (two of whom were wearing police vests) broke into the victim’s house through the front door.

Naazron added that they then escaped with several pieces of jewellery, two mobile phones, and about RM500 in cash.
