Action against GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) is heating up, especially after their darkest secrets came to light and several senior members, including the chief executive officer (CEO), were arrested.

The Melaka Palace has revoked the Datukship title awarded to GISBH executive chairman and CEO, Datuk Nasiruddin Mohd Ali. He received the title on August 25, 2024.

His title will be revoked immediately

In a statement shared by the Melaka State Government, State Secretary Datuk Azhar Arshad announced that Yang di-Pertua Tun Dr. Mohd Ali Rustam has decided to revoke the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka title, effective immediately.

According to BERNAMA, Datuk Azhar said the decision was made following the advice from Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh.

As a result, Nasiruddin’s name has been removed from the list of state honours recipients for 2024.

“Nasiruddin is not permitted to use the title”

Datuk Azhar explained that the decision to revoke the award is based on the prerogative powers of the Melaka Yang Dipertua Negeri under Article 34B, Part IV, of the Melaka State Constitution.

He also added that Nasiruddin is no longer allowed to use the title and has to return the honorific award to the Melaka State Secretary’s Office.

“Mr. Nasiruddin bin Mohd Ali must return the award to the Melaka State Secretary’s Office at Kompleks Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh.”
