Maxis Launches New High-Speed Broadband Plans From As Low As RM89 Per Month!

Great news everybody! Maxis is coming out with new affordable high-speed fibre broadband packages!

According to The Star, Maxis has just launched the MaxisONE Home Fibre plan, which is priced between 36% to 65% lower than previous similar plans. The plan comes with two options, which are 30Mbps at RM89 per month and 100Mbps at RM129 per month for home users.

The telco company is offering both plans with unlimited usage quota. The plans also come with dual-band WiFi router and free installation assistance by Maxperts to ensure that the service starts and stays right.

The 100Mbps plan includes unlimited local voice calls and a free digital cordless phone.

Business plans are priced slightly higher than consumer plans. Users can sign up for the 30Mbps plan for only RM99 per month, and the 100Mbps plan at RM139 per month.

Maxis chief executive officer Robert Nason said the company supports the government’s decision to enable the industry to offer more choices at competitive prices to consumers.

Moreover, Maxis Consumer Business head Dushyan Vaithiyanathan said the launch of these new plans has opened up a new era of accessible fibre broadband for Malaysians, as reported by The Star.

Meanwhile, Maxis’ head of enterprise Paul McManus stressed the significance of good accessible internet service for businesses, adding that their new business plans offer the right solution to ensure that fibre connectivity is at its best.

“Our business fibre plans are therefore the right solution to future-proof Malaysian businesses, as it allows them to focus on what matters most to them, which is running their business with the reassurance that their connection will never let them down. The underlying technology will be flexible enough to support them as their needs grow in the future.” 

Maxis is launching the plans for both new and existing customers. The plans will be available starting September 13, 2018, and those who are interested can pre-register immediately at MaxisONE Home Fibre.
