Massive Fire Engulfs & Almost Completely Destroys Famous PJ Furniture Mall Beside LDP Highway

A blazing fire destroyed almost 100% of the famous 2-storey furniture mall beside the LDP Highway (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong).

According to BERNAMA, the firefighters received a call about the fire at 10:46 PM and rushed to the scene. The fire was contained at 11:30 PM. (October 4).

The cause of the fire, however, is still being investigated, said the spokesperson of the Special Tactical Operation and Rescue Team of Selangor. As per the report from Astro Awani, no casualties were reported.

The road to the area of the furniture mall was also cordoned off by the authorities.

Videos of the massive fire circulated on social media, with many users sharing the tragic incident from their respective points of view. The video below was shared by Mohammed Shahril Anuar Shahrila on Facebook, taken from the route to Sunway and Puchong.

The pictures below show the vantage point from Dorsett Grand Subang, which shows the thick black smoke that could be seen from a distance.
