A video shared via MYNEWSHUB that’s been going around online shows a group of armed robbers targetting a gold shop at a shopping mall around 8:45 PM on March 3.

Harian Metro reported that the robbery happened at a mall in Negeri Sembilan not long after most people had finished breaking their fast.

A witness managed to capture the incident

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof confirmed the incident.

He said police and forensic teams were at the scene collecting evidence.

In one of the videos, a witness who happened to be present at the time captured two masked men grabbing gold jewellery from the display cases.

The investigation is currently underway

It was also reported that one of them was holding a pistol and keeping watch while the other stuffed the jewellery into a bag.

After that, both suspects took off with the stolen goods. They were fully covered, wearing face masks and gloves.

“The investigation is still ongoing. We’ll release a statement soon,” he said.
