A Malaysian woman from Johor Bahru claims that she was impregnated by a man from KL who also allegedly cheated her out of money.
The woman took to Facebook to share about how she met the man through RedNote (Chinese social media platform), whom she called Mr. X. What started as a harmless chat led to the woman asking X to help her look out for a place to rent in KL as she wanted to live and work there, as well as “avoid some matters.”

X told her that he has a friend who works as a property agent and could help look for a place. The woman, however, needed a few days to consider as X asked for an advance of over RM3,000, which the woman couldn’t withdraw all at once.
X, however, claimed that he had helped the woman by using his monthly car loan to pay the agent, and he needed to be repaid in 4 days.
The woman then asked,
“I told you I was still considering it. What if I can’t pay you back?”
The man suggested that the woman sell some valuable items, and at that time, the woman had only an iPhone 15 Pro Max, which she had recently purchased. She proceeded to sell the phone to repay the man so that he could pay his overdue car loan.
“He told me everything felt right”
The woman then proceeded to explain in her Facebook post that she was married and had a fight with her husband one night, which prompted her to leave the house.
She then met up with X, who, coincidentally, was on his way back from Singapore.
That was the first time they met after a few times of communication through video calls, but something else happened, and the woman blamed herself.
“We had sex. I asked the man if he was serious about me since I am still married, and because we had no protection.”
“I asked why was he nice to me, and he told me everything felt right.”

A few days later, the woman started asking X about the rented place in KL, to which X couldn’t give her an answer. X claimed that he, too, was a victim, and his “property agent friend” had not responded to him. He also promised to return the woman’s money at a specific time, but didn’t.
The woman now claims to be pregnant
After her period was a week late, the woman decided to take a pregnancy test and claimed it came out positive.
“He had mixed reactions. At one point, he said he would take responsibility. At another time, he asked me to abort the baby.”
“Less than two days, he blocked me. Yes, it’s my fault, I am stupid,” the woman said.

The woman shared a photo of X’s car – a Honda Civic – and his registration number, as well as his IC number on the post, hoping that she could locate the man via the viral Facebook post.
Her Facebook account has since been deactivated.
