The viral female teacher in Melaka who cheated on her husband and had an affair with “Abang Wiring” has been suspended from duties, confirmed the Minister of Education.

Education Minister Fahdlina Sidek confirmed the matter to the media this evening (May 27) and said that the teacher is suspended from her duties to aid in the investigation.

“She has been suspended from teaching, but is still carrying out duties as a civil servant while she aids in the investigation,” Fahdlina told the media.

Fadhlina also added that the ministry takes the matter seriously, regardless of the case that was formally reported or circulated on the Internet.

“We are serious about the ethics and integrity of a teacher, which we will continuously remind the educators about. It’s about how society perceives the image of an educator.”

“We have removed her from the school so that investigations can continue.”
