Us Malaysians definitely love accessorising our outfits with multiple rings on your fingers. But, it’s best if we also make sure that these rings actually fit and are not too tight.

This is because you’re not going to like what might happen to your hands if your rings are too tight.

The Teluk Intan Fire and Rescue Station in Perak recently took to their official Facebook page to showcase how they had to cut rings off of a man’s hand after his hands swelled up horribly due to the rings being too tight.

They wrote, “The Teluk Intan Fire and Rescue Station received an emergency call for a special service to cut off rings stuck on fingers causing bruises due to the rings being too tight. The victim first went to the Teluk Intan hospital and the hospital called the station for personnel to head over for rescue work.”

“With the man’s permission, the cutting work was successfully done by our personnel and the victim immediately sought treatment to prevent infections. It is advised that all communities take precautions to protect themselves so as to not harm the health of your own body.”

So, if you have family members who like to wear rings, even if they’re a little too tight, maybe it’s time for you to advise them otherwise.

You can check out the horrifying situation here (viewer discretion is advised).
