Nothing unites Malaysians better than a cry for help from someone in need.

It was truly a #MalaysiaBoleh moment when a group of individuals managed to chase down a suspect that tried to steal a woman’s car at a traffic light in broad daylight.

In a video circulating on Facebook, the victim can be seen standing outside her Honda City, just after she was stopped and pulled out of the car. She tries to go back inside, but probably in shock and not knowing what to do, she indicates to other drivers that she needs help.

The suspect then tries driving away in the Honda City, but four other cars pursue him attempting to corner him. They fail once, but they are determined to catch him and continue their pursuit.

Another video shows the four cars successfully cornering the suspect, with one in front, one behind and two at the side.

The driver from the car behind gets down and pulls the suspect out of the Honda City. He also pulls the brakes on the car as it was probably still in gear.

The suspect doesn’t try to run away, so the man knocks him to the ground and sits on top of him while the other drivers get down. The victim also gets down and they all gather around the suspect.

The incident is said to have happened at 1.58pm on 13 April at Sri Petaling heading towards Kuchai Lama.

It is uncertain if a police report was made as further information have not been made available at the time of writing. Any updates on the incident will be updated accordingly.

It’s amazing what Malaysians can do when they come together for a common purpose. Great job to all the drivers for apprehending the suspect!
