If you’re Asian, you probably have a drawer filled with weird plastic containers that no one has touched since 1976. These containers or the blanket term “Tupperware” has become such an integral part of our lives that it’s possible that our moms love them more than us!

As much as we love these plastic containers for its convenience, if there’s one tiresome part, it’s the WASHING! Especially, when it’s oily, all you feel like doing is chucking it into the dustbin.

So, imagine our surprise when we came across a video showing how to wash an oily ‘Tupperware’ in a few simple steps. Instagram @_nzry was generous enough to share us with the video.

Here are the five steps on washing your oily Tupperware which is going to reduce your dishwashing time in half:

Step 1: Add some dishwashing soap to the oily container

Step 2: Fill in the container with a third of the water

Step 3: Put in a small piece of kitchen towel into the mix

Step 4: Cover the container with its original lid and shake like your life depended on it!

Step 5: Rinse the container and you’re done

Our minds are seriously blown after watching this video. Has it always been this simple to wash a greasy container? Where’s the hours of scrubbing with no effect? The oil just came right off using his methods and we’re just low-key shocked at this point.
