Fast food in different countries tastes different as the taste is adjusted to the local flavours. So when we go to a foreign country such as Japan, you would feel like their KFC is not as nice as ours.
A KFC super fan in the UK by the name of Kamlesh Mistry has boasted in an interview with Daily Mail about how he had travelled to over 50 countries and tried the KFC there. This is what the list looks like:
Kamlesh, 37, from Watford, England, has said that his love for Kentucky Fried Chicken started when he was 12 years old. When he was younger, his parents also instilled the love of travelling in him.
“‘Travel is a real passion of mine and it started when I was younger and my parents would always take us away to experience new cultures that were different to my British Indian culture.”
Coupled with his love for Kentucky Fried Chicken, he made it a point to eat at the chicken fast-food outlet every time he is in a new country.
When asked about the best KFC outlet, he said that it’s definitely the KFC in Kuala Lumpur.
“Kuala Lumpur definitely had the most interesting menu. I love my spicy food and they had a lot of spicy alternatives.”
Having gone to various KFCs around the world, he competed for and won the title of KFC Super Fan for the year 2020 which entitled him to a year’s worth of free fried chicken.
This KFC-enthusiast doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon and he mentioned that he is always on the lookout for KFC whenever he is on a holiday.
This is true dedication and we hope that Kamlesh will make his way back to KL soon to try some of our seasonal KFC food items!
