In the re-uploaded post by SG Road Vigilante – SGRV, the couple can be seen giving their statements individually to the police officers who arrived at the scene. An ambulance was also spotted in one of the photos, whereby the man’s hands and legs were injured following the incident.

As reported by AsiaOne, the Singapore Police confirmed that they received an emergency call along Cluny Road where the incident took place at about 8.55am on 23 July 2022. The local police also confirmed that a 28-year-old man was brought to the hospital and was later apprehended under Section 7(1) of the Mental Health Care (Care and Treatment) Act 2008. Furthermore, he was also referred to the Institute of Mental Health for psychiatric evaluation.

It is still uncertain as to what actually caused the man to jump out of the moving PHV. One thing’s for sure though, the action is extremely dangerous and could lead to serious injuries as well as fatality, so never try to do it okay!
