According to India Times, the woman allegedly attacked her own husband with a knife and also threw cutlery at him. The 34-year-old husband had filed a complaint against his wife.

“The couple was having tea in the evening when the woman told the complainant about the wedding. He said he would not be able to attend the wedding and asked her to go by herself,” a police official said.

Getting upset with her husband for not wanting to attend the wedding with her, the woman then threw a teacup towards her husband which hit him on his forehead. She later attacked her husband with a kitchen knife.
