University students across Klang Valley, listen up! The first-ever Inter-University Pickleball Tournament is officially happening this July 2025, offering an exciting opportunity to compete, connect, and champion a continuously growing sport — Pickleball!

Organised by Monsta Asia with title sponsor JD Sports, the Inter-Uni Pickleball Tournament was formed to bring together students from universities across Klang Valley in a dynamic setting where fitness meets fun, and competition allows for community. Whether you’re a pickleball enthusiast, looking to try something new, or eager to represent your university, this is your chance to be part of a movement that’s bound to be big!

What to Expect?

The event spans across several phases, beginning with Pre-Tournament Bootcamps stretching throughout May, where students are introduced to pickleball through hands-on workshops and guided practice sessions

Following these are the Open Uni Games, held in June, giving players the chance to build confidence through social games before the real Intra-Uni and Inter-Uni Tournaments competitions begin on July 12 and 13 at The Pickle Grounds, One World Hotel.

Students will be able to compete in categories including Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles, with five universities sending 6 teams per category to represent their university in the tournament . Offering a competitive atmosphere with lifestyle activations, the event invites both athletes and spectators to dive into a vibrant, supportive space that celebrates passion, play, and connection.
