What could be inside the surprise box?
The unknown can be scary and frightening to some people. Whenever we are exposed to something new and mysterious, more often than not, we do our best to approach it with caution.
Of course, we take our fears very seriously. However, watching other people getting scared is a whole different story and it can be a great source of entertainment!
That’s what these Malaysian personalities were put through recently when they took up the “Surprise Box” Challenge in conjunction with Lazada’s 5th birthday.
Dennis Yin, Vikarworld, Roen Cian, Carey Ng and Hunny Madu were challenged to face their fears with the help of this mysterious challenge.
They had to find a small candle hidden inside a box. But, there was a catch.
They couldn’t see what exactly was in the box so they didn’t know what they had to fish through to find the elusive candle! This is when you start to hate your overactive imagination!

Vikarworld hilariously screamed his heart out when he first touched the cockroaches, thinking they were real. Clearly, he’s no fan of insects!
Hunny Madu reacted the way anyone would if they had to touch cincau and had no idea what it actually was. We don’t blame her for her disgust! Even Carey’s face says it all.

Dennis even contemplated resorting to violence just to get the candle!

Finally, these guys were given something a little easier to deal with. The mystery box was empty, but had a phone that played cricket noises strategically taped inside!
Needless to say, many of them had their suspicions about this.
The cricket noise made Vikar so nervous that he started sweating buckets!
Well, kudos to these Malaysian personalities for giving us a good laugh and for being such good sports!
