All of us have surely experienced road rage from time to time, but we should make sure to never let that anger overpower us while on the road because it can cost a life!
According to the New Straits Times, a 19-year-old lady was tragically killed on the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway after the Sungai Besi toll on Monday afternoon (21st August).
The tragic accident occurred after the driver had an argument with a male motorcyclist who had the 19-year-old pillion rider along with him.
The male motorcyclist was reportedly angry at the car driver and kicked the car’s passenger side mirror, angering the driver even more. He then swerved to hit the motorcyclist, causing both of them to fly off the bike.
When the pillion rider landed on the road, the car reportedly ran over her. She was then rushed to the UKM Medical Centre, but sadly died from her injuries not long after that.
The motorcyclist however, survived and remains warded in the hospital to treat his injuries. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old car driver has been arrested. The case is currently being investigated for causing death by dangerous driving.
What a tragic thing to befall someone. Our condolences go out to the friends and family of this young lady.
