In this day and age, finding a person who cares about another person’s wellbeing is getting more and more difficult. A person who you helped out today might forget about you tomorrow. The same goes for doctors, police officers, firefighters and people in the service industry who often don’t get due credits and appreciation. That’s why it is so endearing to see this man remember those who helped him in his moment of distress.

Kenny Tan had an accident while cycling in the forest and broke his leg last 30th August 2019. The courageous firemen from Balai Bomba Dan Penyelamat Taman Tun Dr Ismail Kuala Lumpur were the ones who saved him.

Despite it happening almost six months ago, Kenny never forgot the firemen’s good deeds and yesterday (Feb 26th), he decided to treat them to a feast of delicious food.

It’s heartwarming to see Kenny Tan remembering the firemen who helped him when he was injured. Many of us ignore the work done by these brave men thinking that it’s their duty but at the end of the day, they’re also humans who deserve appreciation and gratitude.
