If you need any further validation that Malaysian food may very well be the best in the world, well, here it is.

Imagine being a foreigner and discovering Malaysian food, only to crave it while you’re in different parts of the world. That’s what this American traveller felt as she lives in Malaysia but is currently in the Bahamas.

Taking to her TikTok account, Lilith (@lilithinkl), shared her problem where now she compares every country’s food with Malaysian food, everywhere she goes.

She wrote, “When you move to Malaysia, there’s no going back.”

In her video, she explained that Malaysia had ruined her taste buds for the rest of the world.

“Malaysia, we got problems, okay? Because, you have ruined my mouth, specifically my taste buds. Because, right now, I’m in the Bahamas and literally, I cannot stop comparing the food,”

“And not even just the Bahamas, just almost everywhere I go, say like maybe Thailand for example, I am comparing the food everywhere to Malaysia,” she said, adding that she would find the food in other countries ‘okay’ but it would be way better in Malaysia.

She also explained that if she were to ever have to move out of Malaysia for whatever reason, she would be thinking about and wishing for Malaysian food constantly.

“Look what you’ve done to me.”
