How is it that grandparents seem to love their grandchildren more than their own kids?
Sharing that fact on Twitter, netizen @ngehngehngeh mentions how much her grandfather would bawl every time she leaves his house to return to the big city.
So cute, right?
In her tweet, she writes “Day by day my Tokwan (grandfather) gets more sensitive. Back then he was a tough and hardcore person. But lately, he has become a bit more sensitive.”
“Every time I leave for Shah Alam, he will shed tears.”
Surely anyone with loving grandparents will be able to relate.
Here is a continuation of her teasing her grandfather, and of course the waterworks continue.
Understanding the love that her Tokwan has for his grandchild, netizens began stepping up and sharing their experiences with their own grandparents and how they express their love for them.
One netizen spoke of how @ngehngehngeh‘s Tokwan reminded her of her late grandfather.
“After seeing your video of your Tokwan I am reminded of my late grandfather who would pack me an assortment of goodies to take back to KL.”
“Please hug your Tokwan for me.”
Another respondent spoke of how her Tokwan would leave home every time they announced that they will be heading back home because he can’t bear the sight of them leaving.
Bless their souls.
