A Thai lottery winner tragically died before he could collect his lottery winnings.
On April 6, 55-year-old Praphan from Ubon Ratchathani was riding his blue-grey Honda Wave motorcycle when tragedy struck at about 4.30pm.
According to The Thaiger, police from Mueang Chon Buri received reports of an accident that involved a trailer truck and a motorcycle on a road near the Nong Khang Khok subdistrict.

Unfortunately, when rescue teams arrived at the scene, Praphan’s lifeless body was found near the 18-wheel Isuzu truck. Traces of blood could be seen on the truck’s left rear wheel.
He had 2 lottery tickets on him
As police inspected Praphan’s body, they found two lottery tickets dated March 16. The last two numbers on both tickets were “32”, which also happened to be the winning number for the double-digit prize.
Sadly, he never got to claim his rightful prize.

The 50-year-old truck driver, Supachok, claimed he did not see the motorcycle and was driving as usual. He did, however, remember hearing a noise that sounded like he ran over something, which led him to stop and get out of his truck to see what it was.
It was then that he saw the motorcycle on its side and realised that he had just run over someone.
Investigations are underway and police will be reviewing CCTV footage before proceeding with legal actions.
