Just 2 days back, local actor, Sharnaaz Ahmad pleaded not guilty to a charge of physically assaulting a security guard at a condominium in Jalan Dutamas last year.

The KL Magistrate Court has set bail at RM2,000 and the case has been set for a re-mention on March 6. Since then, some netizens have labelled Sharnaaz as a gangster, which the actor ignored, but there is one particular tweet that he decided to respond to.

“Pick on someone your own size, Sharnaaz”

In the said Tweet, a Malaysian said that as a celebrity, Sharnaaz should’ve behaved well and set an example to his fans:

“Sharnaaz, you haven’t met your match. I’m worried that you’ll get beaten to a pulp. At least pick someone your own size.”

The Tweet did not sit well with Sharnaaz. He decided to respond in a nice way and said that he has been “beaten” enough with false accusations and misunderstandings.

“I’m fine with people calling me mafia, or even popia. But when I’m stepped on, I rise and fight back. That’s what my father taught me. We’re a fighter for our ownselves,” Sharnaaz said.

He told the netizen that this is his life’s principle, and thanked him for the advice.

The netizen, on the other hand, did not reply to Sharnaaz’s tweet.

In the meantime, Sharnaaz, who is in the midst of shooting for an upcoming local action flick, The Original Gangster said that the court case has not interfered with his shooting schedule.

Hopefully, this “feud” will stay online and not continue in real life.
