Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced in his latest press conference today (9 March) that the government has agreed to allow live performances to take place in areas under CMCO and RMCO starting tomorrow (10 March).
For CMCO areas, a 50% maximum capacity must be observed according to the size of the premises, while there was no limit mentioned for RMCO areas. However, live performances for RMCO areas are still subjected to the size of the premises.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri also mentioned that outdoor shooting is allowed with approval from FINAS (The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia). Nonetheless, the physical distancing of two metres must be adhered to at all times.
