Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin is making his special emergency announcement now after the Yang di-Pertuan Agong agreed to declare a state of emergency in Malaysia.

This comes after his announcement that six states in Malaysia will be put under the Movement Control Order (MCO) starting 13 to 26 January.
