After breathing nearly a month’s worth of haze, we’re currently enjoying the voluminous rain that has washed the polluted air away. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t keep our guards down, as the rain works like a double-edged sword. Constant heavy rain causes some of us to lose their homes due to floods and the cold weather is attracting wild animals to human dwellings.

Originally posted by Zack Zai on a Facebook group called Info Kemalangan/Kecelakaan, pictures showed a little boy, Iman Sufi, who was hospitalised because he was bitten by a venomous snake that hid in a shoe.

Poor thing must have been terrified.

According to Zack Zai, the snake may have hid in the shoe to warm itself from the cold weather. He also advised everyone to keep their shoes indoors to avoid more accidents like this.

It is a fact that snakes hate cold weather. So when it’s cold, they would find a tunnel or dig one, and hibernate.

You have to be cautious in during this rainy season

“Almighty God.. Poor boy, it’s so dangerous especially during this rainy season. Nevertheless, hope you will get better like you used to.”

Small reptiles enjoy snuggling in dark and cramped places so please be cautious. You may want to bring in your shoes, hats, or helmets inside the house during this season.
