The news of yet another K-pop star committing suicide arrived yesterday around 7pm. Kpop star Goo Hara was found unconscious on the floor of her apartment by her manager. Later on, authorities confirmed that she had passed away.
At the same time, IU, another K-pop artist who was close to both Sulli and Goo Hara, was performing at her Day 2 concert in Seoul when she heard the news. Fans who were present at the concert said that halfway through the concert, IU broke down and cried.
Videos and pictures of the event do not exist as the fansites are working very hard to keep them from being spread out.
On Day 1 of her concert, IU dedicated a special song towards the late Sulli, whom she was friends with as well. If that’s not enough, IU was also very tight with the late Jonghyun of Shinee, who passed away in 2017.
I'm praying that IU will be safe and cared for because of the recent heartbreaks she's been through. Sulli and IU were great friends and Goo Hara and IU promoted love poem. Finally Jonghyun and IU had been friends for years who shared amazing memories together. Stay strong IU? pic.twitter.com/3vCq0FkElT

This is definitely a really tough time for IU, and her fans are worried about her as she lost 3 best friends in the short span of 2 years. So, they are now collectively sending her positive messages to make sure that she feels loved and stays strong. She hasn’t made any postings on social media as of the time of writing.
IU said that her new song 'Love Poem' was actually dedicated for her friend, Sulli. And today, during her concert, the news about Hara's death broke out. ?????

Other celebrities who were close to both Sulli and Hara include Taeyeon of Girl’s Generation, G-Dragon of BigBang, and Sunmi.
We hope that IU and the rest of the people affected by the recent deaths will be able to stay strong and get through this tough time!
