It is undeniable that it is definitely a tough time for students to cope with their studies during the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the main issues faced by this group is the lack of accessibility to textbooks during online learning.
Fortunately, students can now access their school textbooks that are under KPM in a digital form via the Education Ministry’s application – KPM eTextbook Reader.
Based on an announcement under Kota Buku, an organisation under the Education Ministry, parents no longer have to worry about the delayed distribution of physical textbooks as students can easily access digital textbooks via this application using their laptops or handphones.

“Students can write down their notes and key points, similarly to how they use physical textbooks. They can also obtain additional information or references.”
The announcement also stated internet access would not be required to use the application after students have downloaded it. Additionally, all KSSM textbooks can be downloaded now except for the latest version of the Form 5 textbooks.
Students can now download the application for free using the website, or search “KPM eTextbook reader” via Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
